#MIZ101HC

Mizzou’s 101st Homecoming has come and gone, and like the other two I have been apart of, it was a blast. The festivities began on Friday night with Imagine Dragons in front of the Student Center. I haven’t been to many concerts, so when I say they were wonderful I could be wrong, but I think they sounded great. The concert was a bit crazy though when they started encouraging people to crowd surf. As the night went on and people left, more people decided to crowd surf, and more than one ended up falling face first to the ground. Which, honestly, is pretty entertaining.

The next morning BYX had a tailgate for our alumni at 8am. A little early for most, so our showing wasn’t that great, but the guys that did come ended up making omelettes in a skillet over the grill and hanging out before the 11am kickoff. Mizzou finally won their first SEC game against Kentucky and it as actually a good game. Nice to see us win another one at The Zou with so many people there.

After the game my aunt and uncle, who were in town for the game, took Jacqueline and I out to lunch and then came over to check out the house. That night after they left Jacqueline, our friend Adam and myself all went to see Looper at the movie theater. Pretty great movie and I am glad we went to see it. I tried to write a review for it but it’s way too complicated for me to put into words what I thought. So, to put it simply, go see it.

Yesterday I did a lot of nothing and enjoyed my day off. Watched the Rams get smashed for a bit, went to church and then got ready for the week. So, all in all, it was a good weekend. Tomorrow I get to pick my classes for next semester already, Wednesday I am giving a speech that I am not quite ready for and then Friday I have a test, but other than that it’ll be a pretty good week. More to come later!
